Dr. Kang L. Wang is a Distinguished Professor and the Raytheon Chair Professor in Physical Science and Electronics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He presents “Integrated Spintronics for Artificial Intelligence Applications” Thursday, Oct. 24 at 1:00pm in MALA 5050.

Dr. Sheng-Shian Li is a distinguished professor at the Institute of NanoEngineering and MicroSystems (iNEMS), National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. He presents “Design and Development of Micromachined Ultrasound Transducers (CMUT) Based on CMOS” Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 10:30am in MALA 5050.

Dr. Pooyan Jamshidi is an assistant professor in the University of South Carolina’s Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He presents “Reconciling Accuracy, Cost, and Latency of Inference Serving Systems” Monday, Sept. 16 at 11am in MALA 5050.

Dr. Yao Zhu is the head of the MEMS department at the Institute of Microelectronics (IME), A*STAR Singapore. She presents “Accelerating MEMS Prototyping with ScAlN Piezoelectric Thin Film Platforms” Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 1:30pm in MALA 5050.

Dr. Khalil Ramadi is an assistant professor of bioengineering and director of the Laboratory for Advanced Neuroengineering and Translational Medicine (LANTRN) at NYU Abu Dhabi. He presents “Minds et Machina: Speaking to the Brain through Ingestible Electronic Interfaces” Friday, Aug. 9 at 2:00pm in MALA 5050.

Jie (Jack) Zhang is a Research Scientist at the Picower Institute for Learning and Memory and the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT. He presents “High-speed Image Sensor and Systems for Resolving Millisecond-Scale Neural Dynamics Underlying Behavior” Monday June 24 at 2:00pm.

ECE FLORIDA is excited to host an engaging event on Tuesday, April 23. As part of our annual External Advisory Board meeting, Sachio Semmoto Chair of ECE Mark M. Tehranipoor will moderate a panel discussion featuring many of the luminaries inducted into the ECE Hall of Fame the previous evening.
