The ECE Department awards six student awards annually to honor ECE students who have excelled in the categories of research, teaching, and service.
The deadline for nominations for all ECE Excellence Awards is Friday, March 6 at 5:00 p.m., via the Nomination Form.
Student awards
For all student awards, the nominee must be currently registered.
Graduate Student Excellence: Research
This award is given yearly to the ECE graduate student(s) who excelled in their research. Students must be nominated by their faculty advisor.
Graduate Student Excellence: Teaching
This award is given yearly to the ECE graduate student(s) who excelled as a teaching assistant or a supervised teaching student . Students must be nominated by their teaching supervisor.
Graduate Student Excellence: Service
This award is given yearly to the ECE graduate student(s) who excelled in their service to the ECE department. Students can be nominated by any faculty member.
Undergraduate Student Excellence: Research
This award is given yearly to the ECE undergraduate student(s) who excelled in their research. To be eligible, the student must have an ECE faculty research advisor. Students must be nominated by their faculty advisor.
Undergraduate Student Excellence: Teaching
This award is given yearly to the ECE undergraduate student(s) who excelled as a teaching assistant or a supervised teaching student. Students must be nominated by their teaching supervisor.
Undergraduate Student Excellence: Service
This award is given yearly to the ECE undergraduate student who excelled in their service to the ECE department. Students can be nominated by any faculty member.
