Request for Supervised Teaching

ECE Ph.D. students interested in pursuing a career in academia can register for Supervised Teaching hours to fulfill their professional development requirement. Supervised teaching exposes Ph.D. students to the rigors of teaching in a higher education setting. Students will help instructors manage, teach, grade, interact with students outside of class and, if appropriate, plan and give a lecture in the course. Supervised Teaching is meant to act as an apprenticeship program in which students learn to plan and deliver lectures, how to organize course topics, and other tasks related to teaching a course under the supervision of an ECE faculty member.
