Triple Gator Engineer Honored for Lifetime of Engineering Excellence

Triple Gator Engineer Robert Kemerait (BSEE ’60, MSEE ’66, PhD ’71) was recently honored in Cape Canaveral as he prepared to retire from a lifetime of engineering excellence. ECE Chair John Harris and Senior Director of Advancement Sarah Johnson were on hand for the festivities.

Noted Chess Coach & Author Bruce Pandolfini to Give Lecture to UF Honors Class

In Memoriam: Fred Sias Jr.

ECE Florida is saddened to learn of the passing of esteemed alumnus Dr. Fred Sias, Jr. (BSEE ’54 MSEE ’59). Fred Sias’ connection with ECE Florida is a deep one—his father, Ralph Sias, graduated from the University of Florida in 1928 with a Bachelor’’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
