ECE Professor and Director of the Florida Institute for Cybersecurity (FICS) Research Dr. Mark Tehranipoor has been elevated to the rank of Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).

Hazhar Rahmani is currently a PhD candidate in Computer Science in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at University of South Carolina. He presents “Automata-Theoretic Approaches to Planning in Robotics” Thursday, Jan. 20 at 1:00pm.

Dr. Jin Zhou is an assistant professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He presents “Radio-Frequency Commutated Circuits for Future Wireless Systems” Friday, March 4 at 1:00.

A publication co-authored by Dr. Roozbeh Tabrizian, Dr. Philip Feng, Troy Tharpe, and Dr. Xu-Qian Zheng currently graces the cover of Advanced Engineering Materials.

Once again as the semester came to a close, ECE students showcased their Senior Design final projects in the New Engineering Building rotunda. The Fall 2021 Senior Design Expo was held on Thursday, Dec. 9.

ECE Distinguished Professor Jose Principe has been notified by the Council of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) that he has been elected to the rank of AAAS Fellow.

ECE Distinguished Professor José Príncipe was recently notified of his election to the rank of Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors.
