ECE Professor Yong-Kyu ‘YK’ Yoon has received a $750k award from the NSF Convergence Accelerator Program in support of his project “Energy-efficient MetaConductors for Convergence of Sustainable Electronics (E-MC2 of Sustainable Electronics).”

Dr. Alireza Nojeh is a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Stewart Blusson Quantum Matter Institute at the University of British Columbia. He presents “Thermionic Energy Conversion: Simple, Elegant, and Elusive” Thursday, Jan. 26 at 1:00pm in LAR 234.

Dr. Francesca Iacopi leads the Integrated Nanosystems Lab, in the Faculty of Engineering and IT, University of Technology Sydney. She presents “Complementing Silicon Technologies with Graphene for More-Than-Moore applications” Tuesday, Jan. 31 at 1:00pm in LAR 234.

Dr. Ray is leading a $500k project supported by the SaTC program at the NSF. The focus of “An Integrative Hands-on Approach to Vehicular Security Education” is to develop technology and materials to help the broader community comprehend the cybersecurity challenges in autonomous vehicles.
